The most forged Artist in history. I am not an expert in Art, so be sure to email with questions.
|This is a postcard of Humphrey Bogart with his autograph on back.
I am not an autograph expert, and although I believe it is authentic, you will have to compare it with other signatures to determine if you think it is authentic.
This postcard has a cancelled 2 cent stamp from 1955.
|Original Antique SEARCH LIGHT Kerosene Bicycle Lamp.
This nickel plated on brass light is beautifully embossed or stamped with ornate design all around and the top is open filigree for light. This is a kerosene light and was used approximately 100 years ago. It measures 5" high and 3-1/2" wide (width does not include the clamp).
There is a red jewel on one side and green one on the other side. The jewels slide open for light. They are in perfect condition and are easy to open. I opened the light to show there is a wick inside. You can see everything appears all original. I used larger pictures to make sure everything was visible inside and out. The only downside I can see on this antique piece is there is rust on the clamp and there are a couple of 'dings' on the sides. The rear lens inside has a crack across it, but the lens is intact. There is not a front lens.
This old Antique Search Light is in good condition, other than the things I have mentioned. I believe the Lamp will clean up well.
Autographed Picture of Elizabeth Taylor. It has not been authenticated. This beautiful picture is an estate find.
|Nice large print by D. F. Hosbrouck, Country Scene Sawmill Homefront. I don't know the title of the print.
This is one of the few Prints by D.F. Hosbrouck.
The drawing is 13" high x 25-1/2" wide and the frame is 31" high x 42-1/2" wide. There is a very fancy matting about 2-1/2" deep and a double signature, one on the picture and one below the picture. There is also a signature of DuDensing, not sure just who he is, perhaps the Gallery Owner where the Artists work was shown.
